With a passion for transforming spaces and a commitment to excellence, Dana is the driving force behind Swanson Building & Design, a premier woman-owned general contracting and interior design firm based in Florida. With 14 years of experience in the industry, Dana has built a reputation for delivering exceptional quality and innovative design solutions that exceed client expectations.

Graduating with a degree in Interior Design and withholding a CGC license, Dana discovered her true calling in general contracting and interior design at an early age. Her journey from working with her father in construction and her renowned Grandmother, Judy Chefan, in the Design field, to becoming a successful business owner is a testament to her dedication, creativity, and leadership.

As the founder and principal designer, Dana combines her extensive knowledge of construction with a keen eye for detail. She leads a talented team of professionals, ensuring that every project—whether a residential renovation or a commercial build-out—is executed with precision and care. Her approach is deeply rooted in collaboration, inclusivity, and a genuine desire to bring clients' visions to life.

Dana is known for her personalized service and commitment to quality. She is passionate about creating spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and reflective of her clients' unique styles.

When she’s not working on transforming spaces, Dana enjoys traveling, scuba diving, fitness and wine, which often inspires her creative process.
